Nick Watts (pictured above) was the opening speaker at a recent meeting of Commonwealth High Commissioners and fisheries experts and has just launched the Commonwealth Fisheries book at Marlborough House. Nick is a lead contributor and author for the book.

At the end of 2009 Nick also presented on behalf of the Commonwealth Civil Society Organisations to the Commonwealth Committee on Environment and Climate Change. The committee—made up of High Commissioners and delegates from Foreign Offices of Commonwealth States—was charged with preparing the agenda and draft communique for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which was held in November.

Nick teaches in the Sociology and Social Policy area.
