Dr Anne Hogan
Dr Anne Hogan was a former member of the Boston Ballet Company and Pacific Northwest Ballet, Anne received her BA summa cum laude in English literature from Harvard University, and her MA and PhD from Brown University. She has taught at Brown University, the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, and in the Department of Comparative Literature and English at the American University of Paris. In 1997, she co-founded ACM Ballet Théâtre, which performed contemporary and classical works throughout France. In 2000, she moved to the UK, where she was Head of Dance Studies at the University of Wolverhampton, and later Head of Postgraduate Studies and Research at London Contemporary Dance School.
In 2003 Anne joined London Metropolitan University as Academic Leader of Performing Arts, Theatre Studies and Film Studies, where she is currently Associate Head of Humanities, Arts and Languages.
